The final push is on......

So here it is - by Thursday evening I want to have my management assignment complete, my research for the Paul paper gathered, and the book review for Dr. Burke complete...plus packing for retreat and my trip home! Also I'm on to provide music for a funeral taking place at Winnipeg East Corps (which reminds me...I need to practice!). I also have the privilege of leading a worship team this semester! "Worship Team A" as we are called consists of singers, piano, guitar, bass guitar, percussion, and brass - so this will be an experience I'm sure! However I love leading worship and am up for the challenge!

I have two ministry ideas that I'd like to share. The first one come from field class this morning. There is a video program called "The DNA of Relationships" and it looks really awesome! Every one of us could afford to learn how to live in relationship with one another a little better, and from a financial point of view the cost is right. Less than $100. Perhaps this will be a future purchase for the Bungay's! The second comes from Spiritual Formation Class. We gathered in our prayer and theological reflection groups this morning and participated in an encouragement exercise. All you need to complete this exercise is a ball of wool. The group stands in a circle - the leader encourages someone else in the circle - then throws them the ball of wool (holding on to the end). This process continues on and on until you form a "web of encouragement." This exercise worked fairly well in our group, but I'm sure that it would even be more powerful when shared amongst a group of really close friends. Perhaps this exercise will also find its way into the future of the Bungay's! Who knows!

That's it for me!
