Wow...I haven't posted anything in a long time! Sorry! Let see, things are going well here in our last semester of training college - wow that still seems so weird to say! It seems like only a short time ago we were leaving NL and saying goodbye to family and friends. Time is passing so quickly! In fact this Friday the HGN Session will be having our 99 day party, to celebrate 99 days until commissioning. We are heading out for supper at "triple b's" and then back to the residence for cake and refreshments with the GFW's. Sometimes I think people get the wrong impression of our excitement to get our first appointments and start this new chapter in our lives - it's not because we've had a terrible time at CFOT - it's because we feel ready to get out into ministry, and we are exited to build God's Kingdom! That's something to celebrate isn't it?!!

Other CFOT news is that we will have a website up and running sometime in the near future. The site is www.cfot.ca and it will display pics, articles, papers, bios etc. I think it will be pretty cool once everything is set up. We also had our commissioning pictures taken last week - Sheldon and I are very pleased with ours! Sorry, we can't post them yet.

Tonight I'm also celebrating the completion of the SA History course with my final paper focusing on Army music. I found it really interesting to research the link between the sucess of Army music and its adaptation to culture - but hey - there's not many SA band geeks left! haha!
